The Cabin - Located on the lobby level, this steak and chop house welcomes guests in a stone-floored foyer with a fireplace surrounded by leather chairs and sofas. The dining room features soft red walls, stands of lighted aspen, dark wood tables, leather booths, and a small area in the back with velvet drapes for added privacy. Open for lunch and dinner, with reservations recommended for the latter. Chaps Bar and Grill - Framed photos of famous cowboys hang on the red walls of this casual lobby-level restaurant, styled after a Wild West saloon. Serving soups, salads, snacks, sandwiches, burgers, pizza, pasta, and a variety of entrées for lunch during ski season; during the rest of the year, it's open for dinner as well. Diners also have the option of ordering from The Cabin's menu. Café on the Knoll - Coffee specialty drinks, fruit smoothies, bagels, and pastries are among the items available at this café, located next to the spa and fitness center. In the winter, the café is open for breakfast and après-ski. During summer months, it's a lunch deli and poolside bar.

What to expect: Guests enter the resort via a foyer with a rock-strewn waterfall that echoes throughout the two-tiered lobby. A floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace surrounded by sofas and chairs make the lobby a popular gathering spot for an upscale skiing crowd during the winter months. In summer, the resort hosts a more casual clientele. Amenity highlights: Guests start the day with a full breakfast at The Cabin or a quick coffee and bagel at Café on the Knoll, which is an après-ski hot spot in the winter and poolside bar in the summer. Skiers appreciate the walkway to Gondola Square, where their gear is stored. Guest unwind with a massage or a soak in one of two outdoor spas or the outdoor pool with swim-out access from the warm comfort of indoors. Insider tip: The hotel features three private massage therapy rooms, but more extensive services are available through Rocky Mountain Spa, located in the Ski Country Building nestled above the Steamboat Springs Ski Area. The spa offers signature body treatments, luxurious body wraps, revitalizing facials, and hand and foot treatments. Fees apply and advance reservations are highly recommended.
